From the 1st July, 2007, legislation came into effect that makes it compulsory for all homes in Queensland to have smoke alarms installed.

We can supply and install any of the wide range of smoke alarms. However, we support the Qld Fire and Rescue Service’s recommendation of hardwired photoelectric smoke alarms.

Photoelectric smoke alarms detect smoke faster than other types of alarms. This gives occupants a greater opportunity to escape the house in the event of a fire.
